The 33rd Annual Picnic des Chefs has a new theme: “Taste of the Club Culinaire”. Our chef-members will prepare their favorite picnic dish with the beautiful products of our generous purveyors. The 32nd Annual Picnic des Chef was a huge success thanks to the remarkable efforts of our chefs: Beef Bourguignon by Jeremy Berlin, Josie LeBalch’s Wild Mushroom Quiches, Endive Salad by Florent Marneau, Michel Cordon Bleu Soked Salmon, Waffles by Berty Siegels, Desserts by Pamela Berson, Yvan Valentin, Alain Gilot, Thomas Sandi and Chris Kaufmann, Pissaladiere by Agnes Martinez, Golden Beet Salad by Joe Miller, plus the piece de resistance: the enormous tuna sashimied by Keizo Ishiba.
Chef-Owner of 9021Pho, our new member Kimmy Tang brings us French-Vietnamese cuisine from her home country. With four locations in the greater LA area, plus another one in the works, Chef Kimmy still finds time to support local charities with her ever bustling personality. We will be congregating on Tuesday, April 30 at 7pm at the Glendale Galleria to taste her incredible creativity in modernizing Vietnamese cuisine.
